Keratitis

- A serious and potentially sight-threatening infection of the cornea (ocular pain, photophobia, conjunctival injection, tearing, decreased vision, foreign body sensation, corneal infiltrate or opacity and purulent discharge).

- Refer to an ophthalmologist promptly.

- Contact lens wearers have 10 fold risk of developing infectious keratitis.
