Clinical Significance
This organism is part of commensal skin flora.
It has been associated with wound, medical device related, bone, joint and ocular infections, bacteremia, breast abscesses, and endocarditis.
Usual Susceptibility Pattern
This organism often exhibits resistance to clindamycin, tetracyclines, quinolones, and macrolides.
