Oropharyngeal candidiasis

- Screen for HIV unless:
- infant
- known immunodeficiency/ immunosuppression
- recent use of inhaled steroids.
- If chronic suppressive therapy is required for recurrent infection, fluconazole 100mg PO 3x weekly is recommended.
- For denture-related candidiasis, disinfect dentures.
