Antimicrobial Prophylaxis in Dentistry

The following categories of patients require antimicrobial prophylaxis for dental procedures/surgery:

I. Patients at risk of bacterial endocarditis

II. Immunocompromised patients

III. High risk dental surgical procedures

Prophylaxis of Dental Procedures in Patients with Prosthetic Joints is NOT Recommended.
