Taenia solium (pork)
May be transmitted (fecal-oral) to others resulting in tissue infection with larval forms leading to cysticercosis (most commonly manifested as neurocysticercosis [central nervous system invasion→brain cysts, acquired epilepsy]). Consultation with Infectious Diseases recommended.
