- Consult Infectious Diseases.
- Ophthalmological exam recommended.
- Valve replacement almost always necessary.
- Consider long term suppressive oral azole therapy, e.g. fluconazole 400-800mg daily, especially for prosthetic valve endocarditis and no valve replacement.
