Antimicrobial Prophylaxis for Preterm (< 37 weeks gestation) Rupture of Membranes
- In the asymptomatic stable patient with preterm rupture of membranes, prophylaxis with one of the following regimens is recommended:

Amoxicillin | 500mg PO tid x 5 days |
Penicillin/amoxicillin allergy

Penicillin and cefazolin allergy or severe non IgE-mediated reaction to any β-lactam
